Puppet designs that have yet to come to fruition.

This puppet was designed as a hypothetical ‘mascot’ for the Manchester branch of West End Musical Choir. I started with a 'Manchester bee' as a base to represent the city, using the choir’s colours and a ‘conductor’ theme.

The client asked for bright colours and interactive elements for this puppet, and for it to be loosely based on a cat. The plan is to include bells to create sound as the puppet moves, and incorporate crinkle plastic into the ears. This puppet would be made using faux fur over a reticulated foam base, with 3D printed parts bolted on from the inside for security.
